*HAVETS VEJE* – roads of the sea
Havet og dets veje er og har været livsbetingelse ikke mindst for beboerne i norden.
Det knytter os sammen og skiller os ad,
Det har ført erobrere, hvalfangere, oliekompagnier til os
og det har ernæret os og livet på jorden, altid.
Det er fødekæden og klimaet uden havet kan vi ikke leve.
Det er sagnene, mystikken ophav og ånden; fra havets moder til Neptun og Kallevalla.
Det er fisk, sæler, mikroorganismer.
Det har præget menneskene der bor tæt på det og påvirket de der bor langt fra det….

Tura Ya Moya ( D / DK/ GL) led have specialized in site-specific partly analogue sound and light installations in Europe and Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland). With the support of Nordic Culture Point, they transformed a 20-foot cargo container into an Art and projection laboratory enabling them to project images onto the existing environment in public spaces combined with sound.
HAVETS VEJE – roads of the sea
The project aim to connect Artist, composers, culture institutions, marine biologist, local artists and youngsters in a unique artistically investigation inspired by, and dedicated to the ocean.
For this purpose TURA YA MOYA will now rebuild and further develop their mobile Media Art laboratory and go for a new journey. Between 2021-22 the Art cargo are planning to travel around the Baltic sea; to Vestbotten, North Norway and Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland) ending up in Denmark, And with a presentation in Berlin.
HAVETS VEJE – roads of the sea will focus on long-term research work camps and virtual meetings between the participants based on a Nordic, Baltic artistic and compositional collaboration with a number of selected artists, composers combined with the participation of youngsters and local artists.
THE TRIP / THE SHOW
The Art container visits each country between 1 and 3 months.
We work creatively with local artists, and young people.
Finally, the results will be displayed as approximately 7 -10-day outdoor projectionArt installation beginning with a live concert. A media sea symphony in 6 pieces:
Ophav, Sjógvur, Imarsuaq, Hoavva / Meri, Jura, and crossroads of water are being composed „on the sea road“ over two years.
Not all artists are at every location, but their pictures and music will be part of the presentation. An untraditional Temporary Art platform for Nordic, Baltic and Greenlandic media Art.

HAVETS VEJE er et rejsende kunstprojekt baseret på et nordisk-grønlandsk samarbejde mellem kunstnere, videnskabsmennesker og lokale aktører og unge.
REJSEN
Efter virtuelle møder vinteren 2021 stævner Tura Ya Moyas kunstcontainer imod Kalaallit Nunaat (GL) efterår 2021, i 2022 vil containeren rejse til Sápmi; den botniske bugt, til Nordnorge og ender i DK og med en præsentation på de nordiske Ambassader i Berlin.
I et møde mellem musik og billedkunst skabes en Multimediesymfoni i seks dele:
Ophav, Sjógvur, Imarsuaq, hoavva / meri, Jura, og crossroads of water bliver til undervejs.
Sammen med lokalt producerede bidrag. Projektioner på mur is og klippe,
fungere som fyrtårn i og forvandler by og bygd et unikt nordisk værk om vor livsvigtige fødekæde og nordiske nabo havet,
HAVETS VEJE søger at knytte de deltagende steder, nordiske aktører, lokale borgere samme under tema der vedrører os alle: Havet.
Projektet finder sted på baggrund af kunstgruppen Tura Ya Moyas vellykkede rejse med
den 20 fods ombyggede kunstcontainer og deres mange udendørs lysshow i 16 byer og bygder i Norden, Grønland og til Aarhus ved den europæiske Kulturhovedstad, og Baltic.
I øjeblikket fundraiser vi til projektet der blandt andet planlægger besøg i: Nuuk, Qeqertarsuatsiaat, Tasiilaq, Kulusuk, Kuumiut, Sisimiut, Bodø, Helgeland, Jokmok,Vestbotten, Bovbjerg og Berlin.
